The main gist here is that Borderlands broadcasts UDP packets, and by default your main Windows LAN adapter is set to receive these broadcasts. I didn't figure this out on my own - all credit goes to this guy and his blog post on it: If anyone knows the correct exclusion rules then feel free to post them. So far it's just been simpler to turn the firewall off when we play, then back on when we're done. I'm sure there's a way to leave the firewalls on and allow the TV VPN through them, but I haven't had time to figure that out. First, disable any firewalls - in Windows turn off both the public and private firewalls. This is the only part that gets a bit complicated, but it's not too bad. With that taken care of, let's get on with it!

The exact number is a little fuzzy, but at some point TeamViewer is going to tell you you're connecting to too many different computers and it will stop working properly. Also, you don't get to connect to unlimited computers for free. TeamViewer is free for personal use only - if you like it and want to use it for business purposes you'll need to buy a license.
